Vector effects

Finds open lines, duplicates, intersections and self-crossing curves before you cut.

Random Circles

Vector effects

Fills a closed shape with circles, or with any object you pick, in random sizes.

Nesting Tool

Lays your parts out on sheets to waste less material. You see the result first: nothing changes in your drawing until you press Apply.

  • Nest on any sheet size, or on the page size
  • Nest inside a shape you choose
  • Sort by fill colour, outline colour or layer, onto separate sheets or the same sheet
  • Rotation: 90°, 180°, all four angles, or the best angle for each part
  • Allow mirroring to fit more parts
  • Edge padding and the gap between parts, in mm, cm, m or inches
  • Fast or Balanced, plus an extra search for a better arrangement
  • Choose the start corner and the fill direction
  • Sheets laid out in rows, with borders drawn and each sheet's parts grouped
  • Preview, compare with the original, then Apply. Stop at any time.

Vector Doctor

Finds the problems in your vectors before they reach the machine, and marks them right on the drawing.

  • Marks vector intersections with red circles
  • Marks self-crossing vectors with blue circles
  • Selects open or closed vectors
  • Finds duplicate and identical vectors
  • Finds closed shapes smaller or larger than an area you set
  • Finds lines shorter or longer than a length you set
  • Works on the current selection, or looks inside groups without ungrouping them
  • Join tolerance in mm, or 0 for exact
  • Clear all the markers in one click

Random Circles

Fills a closed shape with circles, or with any object you pick, in random sizes.

  • Fills any closed shape
  • With circles, or with any object from your drawing, even text or a group
  • Smallest and largest size, and how many sizes in between
  • Gap between items and gap from the outline
  • Keep every item fully inside the shape
  • Turn each item to a random angle
  • Spread the sizes evenly, least-used first
  • The same layout every time (seed), or a new one
  • Effort per spot, for a denser fill
The letter R filled with circles of five sizes, each turned to a random angle.

Rhinestones

Sets rhinestones in rows that follow a shape's outline, ready for your template.

  • Rows of stones that follow any closed outline
  • Stone diameter, gap between stones and gap between rows
  • The hole size you cut, or the size of the stone
  • Keep clear of the outline, and keep every stone inside the shape
  • A set number of rows, or fill the whole shape
  • Staggered rows that interlock
  • Place any object along the rows instead of circles, turned to follow the outline
The letter F set with five staggered rows of round stones that follow its outline.

Check before you cut. Always check the result (sizes, spacing, cuts) before you cut or produce anything.
